Check out the entire lineup for what looks to be a spectacular night.
ANTHONY JOSHUA’S Wembley duel with Daniel Dubois has grown in importance, and fans believe matchmaker Turki Alalshikh will “get knighted”.
The two London heavyweights will compete for the IBF title vacated by Oleksandr Usyk on September 21 at Wembley Stadium in an all-British bout.
Anthony Joshua will face Daniel Dubois on September 21.
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has put the Wembley spectacular together.
The Saudi boss has announced a loaded undercard for the fight, which will feature Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren’s heavyweights.
His Excellency hopes to draw a record 100,000 people to Wembley Stadium for the bout, which will pit the winner against the winner of Usyk’s rematch with Tyson Fury in December.
Alalshikh has now added “the icing on the cake” by incorporating an English rock ‘n’ roll star into the Joshua vs. Dubois mix.
Former Oasis member Liam Gallagher will play before the main event at the national stadium.
The 51-year-old has returned to the stage in recent months, but his next big show following his tour has already been scheduled.
At Wembley, the singer will play three tracks that have been dubbed ‘classics’.
And, following what promises to be an incredible night in the Riyadh Season spectacular, boxing and Oasis fans came together to praise Alalshikh.
And it left them yearning for the full Oasis reunion between Liam and his brother Noel, something many fans have long desired.
One joked: “Imagine Noel comes on and joins him. Turki will be getting knighted.”
Another wrote: “Big man Turki gonna get Liam and Noel back together at this rate.”
A third said: “Just imagine if he paid enough money and sorted Liam and Noel out like he did with Frank and Eddie.”
While a fourth added: “If anyone can reunite oasis though…. It’s the Saudis.”
As well as a concert, two giant parks for kids will be installed around Wembley to create a family atmosphere.
There is also a stacked undercard for boxing purists to enjoy throughout the evening.
Oasis legend Liam Gallagher will perform at the event.
The most intriguing fight is the light-heavyweight interim title bout between Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson.
In addition, Anthony Cacace and Josh Warrington will fight for the IBF super-featherweight title.
Yesterday, AJ and Dubois nearly came to blows and had to be separated by security following a heated dispute.
