Camila Cabello thanked her fans for helping her stay calm at Glastonbury following a disappointing performance.
On Day 4 of the Glastonbury Festival 2024, the 27-year-old American singer performed her current single, “I Luv It,” as well as classic favorites.
She delivered a bawdy performance on the Other Stage, with Tems and The Last Dinner Party.
Camila Cabello, 27, has commended her fans for keeping her calm at Glastonbury after her ill-fated Isle of Wight show left her not wanting to play any longer.
However, Camila may not have accepted promoter Emily Eavis’ offer to play because of a bad experience at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2018.
Camila described her Glastonbury performance to The Sun, stating that there was a large audience.I’m always apprehensive before festivals since it’s not always the same folks that come to see you.

‘I expected the worst, but I was pleasantly pleased.People were incredibly welcoming and engaged.It was hot, so I could see why everyone was upset and had their arms crossed.
I’ve really played various events like that. I recall the Isle of Wight being challenging. I recall thinking, “Festivals are hard. “I don’t want to do festivals anymore.”
She also mentioned that Glastonbury was quite intense, smelled like a farm, and had a lot of tents.
Camilla made her music debut in 2012 as a member of the American girl group Fifth Harmony, which was created on The X Factor US.
While still in the group, she collaborated with future ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes on songs like I Know What You Did Last Summer.
She formally quit the group in December 2016 and recorded the diamond-certified blockbuster song Havana eight months later.
Camila’s eponymous first album, released in 2018, topped the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum in the UK and US, as well as diamond in Brazil.
She is promoting her fourth studio album, C,XOXO, which was released on Sunday.
She put on a raunchy performance on the Other Stage which also saw performances by Tems and The Last Dinner Party
Camila said of her set: ‘It was a huge crowd. I am always a little nervous before festivals generally because it’s not necessarily people there who are coming to see just you’
‘I always expect the worst, but I was so pleasantly surprised. People were being so warm and engaging’
“It was hot, so I completely understood if everyone was cranky and had their arms crossed.”
Camila looked stunning in a black corset at her new album launch party at The Box in Soho, London, on Tuesday night.
Before singing, she addressed the audience, ‘I’ll be completely honest, I’m a bit ill in the club, but I wanted to come and party and celebrate with you guys.
‘I adore London; it’s so much fun, and you’re all legendary. I’ll be in the club tonight with my mother and father. I sincerely appreciate you for being here and supporting me and my CD.
‘This is my fourth album and thank you for streaming and caring about the music. I am way better at writing down my feelings than saying them on the spot but it really does mean so much to me.’
