The actress began her acting career with the movie, Tamil film, Thamizhan, and her first Bollywood movie was The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Right from the beginning of her career, the actress has been winning hearts with her jaw-dropping acting talents. There’s no denying the fact that Priyanka enjoys a global fanbase, and they never skip a chance to support the actress. Recently, Priyanka’s fans remained miffed with her after a British TV host failed to pronounce the global star’s name.

Recently, a video back from March 2024 surfaced online, wherein British TV host, Andi Peters paid a visit to Madame Tussauds in London to shed light upon the statutes there. Andi was there for the show, Good Morning Britain, and he was being asked by anchors, Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins. When Andi Peters stood next to Priyanka Chopra’s statue, Adil and Charlotte asked him whose statue it was. However, Andi struggled to pronounce Priyanka’s name and addressed her as ‘Chianca Chop Free’.

Netizens are irked with British TV host mispronouncing Priyanka Chopra’s name

No sooner did the video surfaced online than netizens rushed to the comment section to express their anger. The netizens were not at all happy and tagged the mispronunciation as a disrespect to the global star, Priyanka Chopra. Some other users mentioned that mispronunciation can happen to anyone, and it’s pretty normal, but what Andi was doing there was on purpose.

When netizens reacted strongly after a Pakistani actor and YouTuber made a derogatory remark about Priyanka

It was back in August 2023 when the Pakistani YouTuber, Nadir Ali and the Pakistani actor, Moammar Rana made it to the headlines for all the negative reasons. On Nadir’s podcast, Moammar was asked to name an actor from the Hindi film industry whom he thought to be ‘bhayanak.‘ Moammar mentioned there’s no one as such but revealed that he once failed to recognise someone at an event.

When Nadir asked about the same and asked if it was a maid, Moammar mentioned that it was none other than Priyanka Chopra. Nadir then compared Priyanka with black salt (kala namak), and Moammar revealed that his crush on the actress faded away after seeing her in real life. Such mean comments obviously didn’t go well with the netizens, and they started reacting strongly to the same.

Priyanka Chopra once called out her ex-manager for making a comment on her

Back in 2016, after the death of Pratyusha Bannerjee, Priyanka Chopra’s ex-manager, Prakash Jaju mentioned that even the actress wanted to take her life at the beginning of her career. After such a statement, Priyanka called him out and asked the media to stop giving credibility to someone who was in jail because of harassing her.
