Security asked the man to leave the bar after he was deemed “too intoxicated to be on the premises.”
A man is facing charges after he allegedly punched a security guard at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar when he was asked to leave for being too drunk early Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department detailed the incident in an arrest affidavit after taking 24-year-old Wesley Raybon into custody.
According to their report, Raybon approached a bartender and complained of their being vomit next to a trashcan inside the bar. He was then asked to leave by security guards for being too intoxicated, the report states.
The security guards told the officers that Raybon aggressively “got in their face” and threw a punch, striking one of them, according to the report.
The officers reported observing a strong odor of alcohol coming from Raybon during his arrest. Raybon admitted to hitting the security guard because he laughed at him, the affidavit states.
He was arrested in the early morning hours on Wednesday and charged with disorderly conduct. The security guard who was hit did not pursue charges.
