Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us” diss track aimed at Drake has made its way into the Olympics circuit.
On Wednesday (July 10), the United States basketball team faced off against Canada in an exhibition game that took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Following Team USA’s 85–72 victory over their neighbors to the north, the scathing joint was played on the speakers as both teams decompressed.
Whether or not this was a calculated jab has yet to be confirmed, though Drizzy’s Canadian citizenship certainly points in that direction.

After defeating Canada 2–0 thanks to goals from Julián Álvarez and Lionel Messi, the South American squad’s profile on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “Not like us, not with us.” Additionally, they also shared an image of the team celebrating with the words “Not Like Us” stamped above them.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker had a lot riding on the match financially as well.
Prior to kickoff, he revealed that he had bet $300,000 on his country overcoming the odds and beating the current World Cup champions — this, obviously, did not turn out how he hoped and instead worsened the narrative surrounding his bad luck when it comes to sports betting.
The 37-year-old also confidently namedropped Messi while sharing his betting slip on social media, writing: “This could get Messi [Canada flag emoji].”
Earlier this week, Akademiks teased new music from Drake.
