After posting adorable pictures from her roka ceremony with the caption that she is ‘taken’, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had surprised all her fans with her big announcement on August 18, 2019. In the dreamy picture, Priyanka and Nick had looked head-over-heels in love with each other. After four months of being engaged, the lovely couple had tied the knot with each other on December 1, 2018, at Umaid Bhawan Palace as per both Hindu and Christian rituals. Ever since their wedding, the two had been treating their fans with their love-filled moments.
We all know that Priyanka loves wearing traditional outfits and never leaves a chance to make her fans go awww. Be it her first Karwa Chauth at LA or a charity event in Mumbai, Priyanka dons the traditional look like a pro and April 26, 2020, was no different. Due to the ongoing lockdown, Priyanka was badly missing traveling to her country and meeting her family and friends. The gorgeous actress proved that she is the true Desi Girl by wearing a saree with some silver bangles at her home. She shared a picture of herself acing the saree look with hubby, Nick Jonas, and like always took our breath away. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Felt like wearing a saree. So I did…At home. Miss everyone.”
Sometime back, Priyanka had attended a charity festival, Umang 2020 to pay her respects for the Mumbai Police. Priyanka had grabbed many eyeballs with her ethnic look as she had opted for a royal blue coloured saree with a matching sleeveless blouse. She had accentuated her look with bangles and a bindi. On January 19, 2020, Priyanka had shared a picture of her ethnic look and it was her hubby, Nick Jonas’ comment which was unmissable. He had commented, ‘Stunning’ on his wife’s picture.
Recently, Priyanka did a fashion photoshoot for the British magazine, Tatler and the gorgeous actress had spoken about embracing the next phase of her life. She had talked about starting a family with Nick Jonas, and had stated, “Right now, this year’s really packed for me in terms of the work that I’m doing and the work that I’ve taken on. But having a family is very important to me and it always has been. It is something that I definitely want to do and I’m hoping that whenever God wills it, at the right, opportune time, it’ll happen.” She had also talked about prioritising her marriage above everything and had also revealed that despite a demanding career, she and her husband make sure to see each other regularly.
After their wedding, the lovely couple was flooded with questions about the next phase of their lives and when were they planning to have kids. In an interaction with E! News, Nick had candidly spoken about having kids with Priyanka. The handsome Nick was quoted as saying, “I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future. And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future.”
