“Taylor, this one’s for you,” exclaimed Travis Kelce after he won a karaoke award on Thursday for his rendition of Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again.”
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player faked tears as he leaped up and down in a show of heightened delight at receiving the distinction.

He cried a little at the accolade.
“I love you guys,” Kelce said, holding up the prize.
The competition was held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, as a component of the American Century Championship charity golf event.
Kelce was noticeably missing from the 2024 ESPYs that same evening. Kelce attended the event wearing a striped long sleeve shirt and cargo shorts.

The competition was part of a charitable golf tournament in Nevada.
Despite his absence, host Serena Williams acknowledged the tight end during the retired tennis player’s monologue.
“Congratulations, Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City Chiefs. Williams, 42, made a joke on stage about Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, winning the Super Bowl this year.
Kelce began dating Swift in July 2023 and made their relationship public two months later.
The NFL star was a no show at the ESPYs.
Serena Williams, the ceremony’s host, joked that he was “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend”.
The “Catching Kelce” alum has been a frequent attendee at Swift’s Eras Tour events, including a recent performance in London.
During the Grammy winner’s “Tortured Poets Department” performance, the former reality star performed a transitional skit with two backup dancers.
Kelce joked on his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast that Swifties should “keep showing up” for potential cameos.
The couple started dating last summer.
Kelce joined Swift onstage during her Eras Tour last month.
Regarding his “stage presence” at the competition on Thursday, the three-time Super Bowl winner interacted with the musicians and sung along to their songs.
Travis was playfully compared to someone “auditioning hard” for a new position in Swift’s choreography via Instagram.
“He clearly had a lot of stage presence from #theerastour!” A third user suggested that the NFL player was “about to bust a vocal chord,” while another wrote.
