Tom Sandoval of Vanderpump Rules became the internet’s most hated man when he cheated on his longtime girlfriend with one of her best friends. The affair, which became known as “Scandoval,” a compound word made of scandal and Sandoval, was revealed at the end of Vanderpump Rules season 10. The affair surprised Tom’s girlfriend, Ariana Madix, who was close friends with the other woman, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, and had trusted them both.

Among the Instagram users who swarmed the comment section, @bforbonc wrote, “Kristen got the last laugh,” referring to Tom cheating on former Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute with Ariana. Wanting Tom fully canceled, @rachel_daisy91 wrote, “So sad I can’t watch VPR anymore. Just wish they took @tomsandoval1 off the show for the new season.” Sticking with the political theme, @stayoverther wondered, “Democrats….. why do they always look like this?”

Sandoval’s best friend and business partner Tom Schwartz got dragged in the comments sections as well. In January 2024, Tom posted another clip from his podcast, Everybody Loves Tom, which included himself and Schwartz.
