Billie Eilish’s six-night residency at the O2 arena did not sell out due to high ticket prices, according to fans.
The 22-year-old American singer announced in May that tickets for her 2025 Hit Me Hard and Soft tour were on sale, which will include six performances at London’s 20,000-seater O2 venue.

Despite her current album topping the charts in the UK and the United States, ticket sales for her tour have been slow.
Large amounts of seating are still available for Eilish’s shows on the AXS website, the O2’s official ticket partner, but they come at a high cost, which has infuriated fans.
Standing tickets start at £145, while lower tier seats cost an eye-watering £388 each.

One enraged fan posted to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and vented: ‘I’m thrilled Billie Eilish can’t sell out or even marginally fill any of her dates at the O2 arena because the only way we’ll get cheaper ticket pricing is by not buying excessively overpriced tickets.’
Another unhappy admirer of the pop artist commented, ‘It’s horrible frankly, I would love to see Billie but those ticket prices stopped me in my tracks!!!’
The No Time To Die singer will begin her UK tour in July 2025, with two performances in Glasgow, six in London, and four in Manchester.
The public outrage against her latest dates’ exorbitant ticket prices and low sales figures contrasts sharply with her last Where Do We Go? Tour in 2019.
That year, Eilish played four performances in the city due to ‘overwhelming demand’ for her O2 engagements, prompting organisers to add two more events to her schedule.
One fan was’mad’ about the issue, saying, ‘I truly hope those gigs stay empty because it’s the only way they’ll learn that they can’t all charge Taylor Swift rates’.
Last month, Swift, 34, launched her UK Eras tour to Scotland, Wales, London, and Liverpool, with ticket prices ranging from £58.65 to £194.75, with the average standing ticket costing £175.
The Shake It Off songstress, however, treated fans to a three-hour extravaganza. Something Eilish is unlikely to match after previously criticizing extended performances.
‘I’m not performing a three-hour show; that’s literally psychotic,’ Eilish told fans earlier this year, in what was interpreted as a swipe at Swift.

The pop star’s Eras tour will return to Wembley Stadium for five nights in August, following performances in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, and London in June.
Several celebrities, including Prince William and his two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, attended the gigs, which sold 640,000 tickets.
Around 1.2 million fans are expected to spend an average of £848 on tickets, travel, lodging, clothes, and other expenses to see the star at one of her 15 UK tour dates, which is more than 12 times the average cost of a night out.
