Prince William is not willing to budge on his “tough and resolute” stance regarding his fractured relationship with estranged brother Prince Harry, a royal expert has said.
The Prince of Wales, 42, has reportedly not spoken to his younger brother in over a year — and their already damaged bond was made worse with the release of Harry’s bombshell memoir “Spare” in January 2023.
And it seems as though William — the heir to the throne — is “adamant” that his younger brother will not be welcomed back into the royal fold, royal commentator Michael Cole has claimed.

“There’s going to be no softening of the adamantine response to what he’s done,” Cole told GB News.
“He’s done the unthinkable. In this life, most men can put up with insults, it happens. You get insulted. What they cannot put up with are two things which they cannot abide with. Their driving ability, and they certainly cannot allow their wife to be criticized,” the former BBC royal correspondent added
Despite reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 had reached out to the Firm for reconciliation talks, it appears as though a reunion will not be in the cards anytime soon.
“Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have made no secret of their disdain for Princess Kate,” Cole continued.

In March, the Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis to the world in a prerecorded video message.
Upon hearing the news, the Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍es released a statement of support to Harry’s estranged sister-in-law.
A royal expert this week suggested it was easier for William to cut ties with his brother than to be “continually annoyed” at him
“We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” the pair said at the time.
Speaking about the pair’s response to Middleton’s health woes, Cole believes that Harry and the “Suits” alum, 42, could have sent more of a personalized message.
“Even when her cancer was diagnosed and she announced it herself,” he told the outlet. “The message they sent was sort of a mealy-mouthed thing.”
It comes after another royal expert suggested that it was easier for William to cut ties with his brother than to be “continually annoyed” at him.

“William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily,” royal expert Ingrid Seward told the Mirror.
“His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed.”
