Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce marriage nears as NFL legend eyes $250,000 engagement ring after Paris shopping spree

KANSAS City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is close to buying the perfect engagement ring for Taylor Swift, The U.S. Sun has learned.

The NFL tight end took his time touring jewelry shops around the world before finding a $250,000 band bedazzled with the “finest diamonds,” a source said.

Proposal chatter surrounding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift has steadily increased as America’s power couple approaches their first anniversary this fall.

And it looks like Kelce is ready to pop the question.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, known to be a fierce competitor, took the task of finding the right ring as seriously as he has ever been about chasing Super Bowl glory, a source close to his entourage suggested.

“It probably took more than 40 shop visits and 100 Zoom calls and meetings with jewelry experts” to find what he looked for, the insider told The U.S. Sun.

The nine-time Pro Bowler also sought advice from close friends and people who know Swift, 34, well, per the source.

Kelce is understood to have seen different rings in New York, Los Angeles, France, Italy, and England since around the end of last year before finding the one at Place Vendome in the heart of Paris.

Although the process took months, it was “worth” the effort with the insider greatly enjoying the sight of Travis being “so excited about” the search.

“He finally found the ring he is sure she will love,” the source said.

The ring is worth around $250,000, the insider revealed, and has “the finest diamonds and pieces to build it.”

“He wants the best for his lady,” the source said, noting Travis’ desire to “show how much he loves” Taylor once he goes down on one knee.

“He is ready to get engaged to her, he can’t wait,” the insider added.

The news comes as the European leg of Swift’s Eras Tour is slowly coming to an end.

The 14-time Grammy winner has gigs in Austria and the UK scheduled for most of August before heading back to North America.

Taylor will then take a break from the stage before performing in Canada toward the end of the year.

Kelce can’t wait to reunite with the Dear John singer after returning to the US for the Chiefs’ training camp, The U.S. Sun reported recently.

And so he showered Swift with gifts to make her “feel special” ahead of a recent seven-show stint in Germany, a source said.

Those included clothes from German designer Jil Sander that totaled $59,000.

“Travis misses Taylor a lot, and he knows that she is getting onto the last few weeks of the Eras tour in Europe,” the insider told The U.S. Sun.

“He knows her tastes so well now. She will have plenty to choose from when she watches him play in the NFL this fall.”

Kelce is also understood to have spent over $130,000 on gifts for his Chiefs teammates before reuniting with them at training camp.
