Nick Jonas shared his thoughts on whether his daughter Malti might follow in his and wife Priyanka Chopra’s footsteps in the entertainment industry.

Nick Jonas attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Good Half on Tuesday (August 13), accompanied by his wife, Priyanka Chopra. At the occasion, Nick lauded Priyanka’s talents, stated, “She’s obviously a brilliant actor and producer, so I trust her opinion implicitly.” He also described their daughter, Malti, as ‘full of personality’.

During the occasion, Nick Jonas spoke with Access about whether Priyanka Chopra had seen his film The Good Half and whether she was proud of his work. He explained, “She saw an early cut of the movie about a year ago I think. And she gave some few tiny notes that went a long way.” Nick further highlighted her experience as an actor and producer, indicating his complete trust in her judgment.

He also addressed the viral footage of their daughter Malti, in which she is heard saying ‘Oh my gosh’. He emphasized the significance of being careful what is said around youngsters because they tend to repeat everything.

At the same event, Nick Jonas spoke with Entertainment Tonight about whether he believes Malti will follow in his and Priyanka’s footsteps. He argued that it was feasible, pointing out that she has a lot of personality. He acknowledged the unique and gratifying nature of their careers and said, “We understand that this is a brilliant industry to be a part of and we’re fortunate to have had the kind of careers we’ve had. But it also is a wild ride.”

He underlined the necessity of giving Malti the freedom to make her own choices at her own speed. He promised to support and guide her if she chose to follow a similar path. Nick also expressed appreciation for Priyanka, calling her ‘so gorgeous’ and praising her qualities.

Recent online videos and photos showcased Priyanka Chopra wearing a startling ensemble—a black lace bodysuit with a translucent overlay. Her appearance wowed both fans and Nick Jonas. In an Instagram video, Nick was clearly entranced, unable to take his gaze away from Priyanka as they posed together, while Priyanka appeared to flush. The duo joined the cast of The Good Half, which also stars Brittany Snow, Alexandra Shipp, David Arquette, Matt Walsh, Elizabeth Shue, Ryan Bergara, and Mimi Gianopulos.

Priyanka Chopra attended the premiere with Nick Jonas shortly after wrapping filming on her next project, The Bluff. While filming in Australia, Priyanka frequently posted updates to Instagram. The film stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo and is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Anthony and Joe Russo’s AGBO.
