“I can check shakin my butt with Luke Bryan off the bucket list,” Zimmerman joked following the show.
Luke Bryan gave Bailey Zimmerman a dance lesson to remember on stage at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend.
The five-time Entertainer of the Year showed Zimmerman how to shake his hips during a surprise collaborative performance of “Sweet Caroline” at the home of the Atlanta Braves.
Zimmerman, who had returned to the stage donning a cut-off “Country Girl Shake It For Me” t-shirt featuring Bryan’s face, received a one-on-one lesson from Bryan himself, who is well-known for his signature hip-shaking moves.
In a video clip captured by fans, Zimmerman can be seen attempting to mimic Bryan’s moves on stage while the audience cheered him on. Bryan appeared to be laughing as Zimmerman tried his best to move his hips along to the music.
Following the show, the “Holy Smokes” singer reflected on the moment on social media, writing, “I can check shakin my butt w/ @lukebryan off the bucket list
Zimmerman is scheduled to appear on a select number of shows with Bryan on this summer’s Mind of a Country Boy Tour, including next week’s stop at Chicago’s iconic Wrigley Field.
“Atlanta with @lukebryan last night was LEGENDARY,” Zimmerman shared. “Can’t wait to do it again next weekend in Chicago.”
Bryan only has a handful of dates left on his summer tour, which is set to wrap up on September 14 in Tampa, Florida. This run of shows has featured support from a variety of artists, including Vincent Mason, Lily Rose, Kameron Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, and more.
Shortly after the Mind of a Country Boy Tour comes to a close, the country superstar will launch his Farm Tour 2024, making stops in six farming communities around the U.S. This trek kicks off on September 19 and runs through September 28.
On September 27, Bryan will release his highly anticipated eighth studio album, Mind Of A Country Boy. The 14-track collection is the follow-up to 2020’s Born Here, Live Here, Die Here and includes fan favorites like “Country On,” “But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” “Southern and Slow,” the title track, and his latest chart-climbing single, “Love You, Miss You, Mean It.”
“I think this album, as I’ve tried to do with all my albums, just has a little bit of everything. I do some things different vocally on this one that I’ve not done before. It’s about each song having its place and having its meaning. It’s trying not to be overly redundant with songs. I think that’s why I’ve been blessed to have a long career and what I feel like this album’s going to do,” Bryan explained.
Early next year, Luke Bryan will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Crash My Playa. The destination event will feature a can’t-miss lineup featuring Bryan alongside Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Bailey Zimmerman, Dustin Lynch, Dylan Scott, Elle King, Jackson Dean, Nate Smith, Dasha, Ella Langley, Tucker Wetmore, and DJ Rock.
“This is one of those pinch me moments. The 10 year anniversary of a festival that I got to create along with the Playa Luna team,” Bryan said. “It is hands down one of my favorite times on stage – period. To get to celebrate in the most beautiful setting with the most incredible Playa crashers, along with the most incredible artists – it doesn’t get much better. My artist friends always leave here wanting to come back. Gonna be the best Playa party yet.”
