Prince Harry and Prince William reunite after Duke of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍’s ‘secret trip to UK’

Prince Harry managed to remain under the radar as he travelled to the UK to attend a poignant family event alongside Prince William, it has been claimed.

Prince William and Prince Harry reportedly reunited at the funeral of their uncle

Prince Harry travelled to the UK to attend the private service of his uncle Lord Robert Fellowes, it has been claimed.

The funeral was attended also by Prince William, whose relations with his younger brother have been strained for years.

Both princes attended the funeral at St Mary’s Church in Norfolk “discreetly” to pay tribute to the brother-in-law of Diana, Princess of Wales.

The claim the Duke of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 travelled to the UK came as a surprise as a source had previously said Harry would not travel across the pond for the poignant occasion.

However, a source described as a close family friend claimed to the Sun they were “very happy to confirm both princes were there”.

Lord Fellowes worked for the late Queen for several years

Another source told how they only saw Prince Harry and Prince William at the end of the service, claiming: “I didn’t know they were there. They arrived very discreetly.”

The royal brothers are believed to have barely spoken over the past few years. Their relationship is thought to have become icy following the arrival into the royal fold of Meghan Markle, and to have broken down in light of the Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍’s interviews and claims after their exit from the Firm in early 2020.

The reunion to honour their uncle seemingly didn’t bridge the gap between Prince Harry and Prince William, with a local claiming they were not seen speaking to each other and “kept their distance” during the service.

Following the Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍’s decision to step down as working members of the Royal Family, the pair only travelled to the UK a handful of times due to security concerns harboured by the pair.

Meghan and Harry have been living in California with their children Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana since March 2020.

Lord Fellowes died aged 82 on July 29. He was a key figure in the Royal Family, not just for being related to the royal brothers through his marriage to Lady Jane Spencer but also because he worked as a press secretary to the late Queen Elizabeth II for 13 years. He had joined the Royal Household in 1977.
