2024 hasn’t gotten off to the best beginning for Sovereign Harry and Meghan Markle, as they are purportedly considering selling their $11M home in Montecito, California and moving to a more modest property in an alternate region on the grounds that their neighbors are getting “wiped out” of them.
As per The Mirror, a significant number of their neighbors have been irritated by the show that is continually encompassing them, and the media consideration they are continuously getting. “Harry and Meghan live in the neighborhood yet in an impressively pricier spot, however no one around here is precisely living in cardboard boxes. Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Neighbors Are ‘Sick Of Hearing About Them’
“People who like them seem to have an unlimited tolerance, no matter what they do, somehow tied to the ‘handsome prince falls for commoner’ fairytale. Everyone else is either unimpressed by the traveling soap opera or is just sick of hearing about them,” he added.
It’s no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 have been looking at other properties in other parts of California over the past year, with several reports suggesting that they wanted to move to Malibu. The move to Malibu is reportedly “integral to Meghan’s Hollywood relaunch,” according to The Express.
Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Moving To Malibu?
“In recent weeks they have been looking for specific properties – private enclaves away from prying eyes,” a source reportedly told The Express back in November. “The word is they are now settled on a specific spot and have the realtor sworn to secrecy. It’s been very much under the radar because the pair are so adamant to keep their home private. They do not want a circus around this.”
“Meghan’s friends and contacts from her Hollywood days have been supportive in aiding them in their hunt. There is still some working out to do about whether they will move full time or split it with Montecito,” the insider added.
Prince Harry Might Prefer To Move To New York Instead
Also at the end of last year, there were reports that Prince Harry wanted to “sabotage” their potential move to Malibu, as he was becoming enamored with the Big Apple instead!
According to The Mirror, an insider told Heat magazine that Prince Harry enjoyed “the fast pace, the culture, the social scene” in New York. Additionally, the source noted how it would be much easier for the father-of-two to visit the U.K. if they lived in New York, as a flight to London takes eight hours compared to the 11 hours it takes from Malibu. There have been several reports over the past year about Prince Harry feeling “lonely” in the U.S., so having an easier journey to the U.K. could make things easier for him.
“Harry was all gung-ho for the Malibu move a couple of months prior. Indeed, it was Meghan’s thought, yet he was amped up for it,” the insider started. “It feels odd that now he looks for from that Californian life and is recommending they purchase a spot in New York all things considered. It’s practically similar to he’s attempting to undermine things since it has neither rhyme nor reason,” they added.
Despite the fact that Sovereign Harry is supposed to influence towards New York, the insider affirmed that the previous Suits entertainer needs to be near LA for her profession, taking note of at the time that she had been there “on various occasions seven days.”
