Nick Jonas, a star since childhood as part of the Jonas Brothers, has been expanding his acting career in recent years. In a recent interview, he shared how his wife, Priyanka Chopra, assists him in preparing for film shoots.

“I’ve got a pretty good scene partner at home,” Jonas told E! News, emphasizing Chopra’s talent as a world-class actress. The couple collaborates closely, even helping each other assemble audition tapes and breaking down scenes and characters together.

“It’s great to stay creative at home, and then you can bring that into the workspace,” he noted. Fans should know that Chopra played a significant role in helping Jonas delve into his character, Renn Wheeland, in the upcoming film The Good Half.

During the film’s premiere in Los Angeles, Chopra gushed about Jonas on Instagram, saying, “Cannot wait for you all to experience this beautiful, poignant, touching movie with incredible performances. I may or may not be slightly biased, but @nickjonas, you are phenomenal in this one.”

The Good Half features a talented cast including Brittany Snow, David Arquette, and Elisabeth Shue. Directed by Robert Schwartzman, the film follows Renn as he returns to Cleveland for his mother’s funeral.

Jonas is currently filming Power Ballad, a musical comedy directed by John Carney, alongside Paul Rudd and Jack Reynor. Meanwhile, Chopra is busy with two upcoming films in post-production, including Heads Of State with Idris Elba and John Cena, and the swashbuckler drama The Bluff.

The couple first connected in 2017 through text messages, leading to a whirlwind engagement and marriage in December 2018. They welcomed their daughter, Malti, via surrogate in January 2022.
