Priyanka Chopra Shares New Priorities After Welcoming Daughter Malti: “I Would Give Up My Career for Her”
Priyanka Chopra is opening up about her shifting priorities since welcoming her daughter Malti with husband Nick Jonas. The 40-year-old actress expressed her desire to spend more quality time with her 1-year-old daughter, stating that she now sees her career in a different light.
In a recent interview with Femina, Priyanka emphasized the importance of being present for Malti. “I want to go back home. On time,” she explained about her shooting schedule. “I finish my job really quickly and then I’m home.”
She further revealed her commitment to her daughter, saying, “If I were asked to give up my career and just move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter.”
Priyanka reassured fans that her love for her job remains strong. “That doesn’t mean I don’t love my job. I’m still going to do it with the same gusto as before. But now, I know life is equally important.”
Malti was born in January 2022 via surrogate and spent 100 days in the NICU. Priyanka and Nick frequently share glimpses of their family life on Instagram, often covering Malti’s face with heart emojis. The couple’s daughter made her first public appearance at Nick’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
