Prince Harry and Prince William are no longer close after years of feuding, but one royal expert believes Kate Middleton could put an end to their ‘bitterness and bad blood’
According to royal expert Jennie Bond, Kate Middleton has played an “influential” role in easing the “bitterness and bad blood” between Prince Harry and Prince William. In recent years, the Duke of SusđâŻđ’s relationship with his brother has soured, particularly after Harry and Meghan Markle distanced themselves from the Royal Family.
However, signs of reconciliation appear to be emerging, as the Royal Family recently wished Harry a happy birthday for the first time in years. Bond believes that Kate’s recent cancer diagnosis has prompted a shift in perspective, particularly for William. She noted, “Landmark birthdays can often lead to reflection, and it seems William has been re-evaluating his stance. My gut feeling is that Catherine has been influential in this slight softening of her husbandâs position regarding Harry.”
Kate recently released a new video to announce she has completed her chemotherapy treatment. In the video, she said her cancer diagnosis had given her a new perspective on life.
Bond suggested family matters more to Kate than ever before and suggested she has “persuaded William that life is too short to bear grudges.” Speaking to OK! Magazine, Bond continued: “William has so much on his plate at the moment that I donât think he has room in his heart or head to deal with all that has gone on with Harry.
“But first steps do matter. And though the brothers may never be close again, or even live on the same continent, it doesnât mean that the future has to be full of bitterness and bad blood.”
In a touching video, Kate Middleton expressed her “relief” at completing her cancer treatment, sharing that the last nine months have been “incredibly tough” for her family. She remarked, “Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and the road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”
The Princess of Wales extended her gratitude to fans for their unwavering support during this challenging time. “Everyoneâs kindness, empathy, and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey â I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright,” she said, offering hope and solidarity to others facing similar battles.
