Priyanka Chopra sweetly doted on her two-year-old daughter, Malti, as they arrived at Mumbai airport on Thursday. The 41-year-old Indian actress and producer brought her little one for a visit to her home country.
Stepping out, Priyanka looked effortlessly chic in a black vest top and flowy trousers, accessorizing with a white sun hat and small silver hoop earrings, her brunette hair styled in loose waves. Malti, looking adorable in a green and white gingham dress, held onto her mother, adding to the heartwarming moment.
Malti’s dad, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, is currently on tour and couldn’t join the mother-daughter duo in India. The two-year-old spent her first 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit but is now thriving as the first and only child for both Nick, 31, and Priyanka.
This outing follows a recent Instagram post where Priyanka shared rare photos with Malti, capturing a delightful day outdoors. The pair was seen walking on a popular trail in Topanga State Park, adjacent to West Los Angeles.
In her caption, Priyanka described how Malti “touched everything” and “jumped in puddles till she was muddy to her knees.” She expressed her joy, saying, “To witness her in real time experiencing everything for the first time… is just her magic dust that she sprinkles in my life every day.”
In the Instagram photo, Malti was intently holding on to the side of a small bridge over a creek, watching the water run below her – fast and furious following the recent deluge of rain in the Los Angeles area.
She wore an adorable leopard print hoodie, black pants, and tiny black hiking boots – which she definitely needed, judging by the amount of mud on the trail.
In fact, she and mom both showed off their muddy shoes.
But it wasn’t all work – the pair took a break to sit on a park bench and enjoy a juice box.
In one video, Priyanka held her daughter’s hand on the ride to the park and asked her where they’re going.
‘Hike!’ Malti replied.
Priyanka recently shared some of Malti’s other ‘firsts’ as well. Last weekend, she went down a slide by herself.
