On a different platform, Sterling Mahomes has emerged as Taylor Swift’s protégé. Patrick Mahomes disclosed on Tuesday’s episode of “The Drive” that since Swift started dating his teammate Travis Kelce last summer, his 3-year-old daughter has spent a lot of time in the kitchen with her.
The 29-year-old quarterback stated, “Sterling is a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes and I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them.” Swift’s close friend Brittany Mahomes, the wife of the two-time NFL MVP, has a toddler and a one-year-old kid named Bronze.
Patrick Mahomes revealed his daughter, Sterling, has been spending time in the kitchen with Taylor Swift.
Mahomes said the toddler loves to bake — just like Swift.
Although Patrick admitted the “Fortnight” singer hasn’t “specifically” baked for him, he has been lucky enough to try a few of her “different treats, like muffins and donuts.”
Patrick noted that Swift’s culinary confections have lived up to expectations.
“It is as good as everybody has talked about,” he said. “She is great when it comes to baking.”
Although Swift has become known for her homemade Pop-Tarts, the NFL star admitted that he “has never” tried one of the toaster pastries.
The NFL star said the duo “make some stuff together sometimes.”
Mahomes said Swift is a “great” baker.
In February, Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, revealed the hitmaker made Kelce and some of his teammates special treats throughout the 2023 season.
“She likes to cook so she made the offensive lineman these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Reid revealed during a livestream.
The legendary coach said the kind gesture won the team over instantly — even if he didn’t get the chance to try one himself.
The 14-time Grammy winner also baked Kelce a sheet of cinnamon rolls — one of his favorite sweets — at the beginning of their romance.
Mahomes said he has tried a few “different treats, like muffins and donuts” that Swift made.
All of her baked goods have exceeded expectations.
“Taylor makes a great Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll,” the NFL star, 35, told reporters in June.
When the couple isn’t stepping out for dinner with their A-list friends, they love cooking together and bonding over homemade meals.
Swift is known to be an avid baker.
After years of being a “picky” eater, Kelce recently acknowledged that the superstar has broadened his pallet to include different cuisines. The tight end revealed that he was “beginning to open up” to new cuisines to his brother Jason Kelce during a recent episode of his podcast, “New Heights.”
Swift grew close with the Mahomes family after she began dating Travis Kelce last summer.
Swift also frequently bakes for the tight end.
“I know. My girl Tay is getting you opened up,” Jason, 36, said. “She’s introducing new foods to you, and it has been one of the greatest things that I’ve been happy about.”
“She is,” the three-time Super Bowl champion agreed.
Some of his new favorites include Israeli cuisine and “light curries.” However, the “Grotesquerie” actor admitted he still has an issue with textures and presentation.
“The more it gets thicker and looks like a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 food or like 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 s–t, then I’m out,” he joked.
