Tyson Fury Ready to Fight Anthony Joshua Even at 50: ‘He Knows He Can’t Avoid It’.

In order to face Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury is prepared to wait until he is fifty years old. Without yet sharing the ring, the two British superstars have been agonizingly circling each other for years.

Tyson Fury is prepared to hold off on fighting Anthony Joshua until he is fifty years old.

With a double header being organized behind the scenes from Saudi Arabia to London, they appeared on track to accomplish this next year. However, after losing against Daniel Dubois via knockout at Wembley Stadium, AJ seemed to have blown it.

In the meanwhile, Fury will face Oleksandr Usyk again on December 21 after losing the undisputed title in May. However, the 36-year-old Gypsy King cautioned Joshua that there is no escape from their impending Battle of Britain.

Joshua was lined up to fight Fury next year.

He said ahead of the console release of boxing video game Undisputed: “Joshua, he knows he’s getting it.

“Even if we’re 50 years old he’s got to fight me. There’s no escaping it, he cannot escape me.

“Even if we are 50, we’re still going to sell out Wembley. That is a fact, and anybody they can all get it.”

Usyk, 37, captured Fury’s WBC title and undefeated record, becoming him the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion in history. However, he had to give up the IBF belt that 27-year-old Dubois inherited after being promoted from interim champion in order to move on with their rematch.

Additionally, he put Fury’s intention to fight AJ on hold when he shockingly knocked out Joshua, 34, in his first defense. Since then, Joshua has spoken with Saudi boxing guru Turki Alalshikh and promoter Eddie Hearn. Additionally, a rematch with Dubois is already planned for February.
