Ultimate Battle: The Only Actor in Both The Boys and Superman Shows Picks Homelander vs. Superman Winner.

Lead actor Jack Quaid of My Adventures with Superman, who portrays the title DC hero, shares his prediction for the winner between Homelander from The Boys and the Man of Steel. My Adventures with Superman season 2 is premiering this weekend on Adult Swim, so the Man of Steel is getting ready to make a comeback to television. Clark Kent’s Kryptonian adventure has only just begun in the wake of the dramatic conclusion of season one of My Adventures with Superman.

In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, promoting My Adventures with Superman season 2, Quaid, who also stars as Hughie Campbell on Prime Video’s The Boys, was asked who he thinks would win in a battle between Superman and Homelander. Now that Quaid has taken part in both superhero universes, including voicing Krypton’s last son, the actor gave the following response in who would come out victorious in a showdown:

“Screen Rant: Now that you have played Superman – and let’s say if you had this conversation with Antony Starr, I don’t know if he’ll be watching this – would you say Superman beats Homelander in a showdown?

Jack Quaid: He has to, right? Like if he doesn’t, we’re all in trouble. I think my particular version of Superman has a lot of growing to do, and he still needs to discover some more of the powers that we all know are in there but give him a few seasons, and he can take Homelander, for sure.”

Superman vs Homelander: Who’s More Powerful Debate Explained

Homelander, who is essentially the evil version of Superman in The Boys universe, has for a long time been the subject of debate as to whether or not he could actually defeat the Man of Tomorrow. The Boys, which is a superhero satire, explores a world where supes (their version of metahumans) have gone mainstream, and in this universe, Homelander is the primary antagonist, showing how doomed a world could be if Superman turned on humanity. As The Boys have continued to run for years, the fandoms are regularly discussing the outcome of a Superman vs. Homelander fight.

Many would argue that because Homelander is willing to cross any line, he would emerge victorious against Superman. However, with Superman being a literal alien from another planet who also uses his powers in a more intelligent way, the Man of Steel should, without a doubt, be able to take down Homelander. In the end, the outcome would also depend entirely on who is writing a Superman vs. Homelander battle.

If there ever came a time when The Boys could do a proper crossover with DC, it’s more than likely that Superman and Homelander would finally get to have their battle. If the studios could ever figure out how to do a crossover from a legal standpoint, it would certainly be compelling to see how they would address the Superman and Homelander situation. Whether it is the Man of Steel from My Adventures with Superman or any of the live-action versions, hopefully, there will be a day when Kal-El gets to duke it out with Homelander in one way or another.
