‘That’s Insane’: Eric Kripke Drops Bombshell with Little People Set for ‘The Boys’.

The Boys is not a children’s program, yet it does not exclude the series from having its own licensed Fisher-Price toys. Eric Kripke, the showrunner of The Boys, has introduced a new Little People set based on the series.

The announcement was made on Kripke’s X account. “Dreams do come true,” he wrote in the caption, adding that the fourth season of The Boys will premiere on June 13.

A video was also included, showing Kripke opening a box to reveal a six-pack of Little People toys, which contained three Supes and three members of the titular gang. Homelander (Antony Starr), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), and Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) may all be seen on the set, despite the blurry image.

Other movies and television shows that have inspired Little People sets include E.T., The Lord of the Rings, and Barbie, as well as The Office, Stranger Things, and Friends. However, given how intense some of the Prime Video series’ scenes can be, The Boys is the most mature IP to receive the Little People treatment to date. Even Kripke was astonished, remarking, “That’s insane.”

The boys will get even crazier in season four.

“There has to be a ceiling, but we can’t seem to find it,” Antony Starr recently teased to Variety on how the fourth season will push the boundaries even farther. “I was looking at the person opposite me and asked, ‘What are we doing?'” I cannot believe it! I could have done anything else with my life, so why am I doing this?’ “It was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever done.”

“You know how crazy The Boys is? It’s gonna get crazier,” actor Simon Pegg, who plays Hughie’s dad in the series, also teased about the fourth season, per Collider. “I had so much fun on that show.”

The insanity will continue, as Season 4 won’t be the last series of The Boys. Ahead of the new season, it was announced that Amazon has already renewed the series for Season 5. Meanwhile, the franchise also continues to grow, because a second season of the spinoff series, Gen V, is currently in production.
