During a trip to the bowling alley, Drake has attempted to regain the moniker “69 God” in retaliation for Kendrick Lamar.
Over the weekend, the Toronto rapper went bowling with pals. In a video that was shared online, the rapper’s name appeared on the screen at the establishment and read “69 God,” which is a reference to Kendrick Lamar’s diss song “Not Like Us.”
After accusing Drake of being a pedophile, Kendrick continuously rapped on the song, “Freaky ass n-gga, he a 69 God,” making charges about Drake’s šāÆšual life.
Actress Keke Palmer recently questioned the lyric on the track, claiming she didn’t understand why it was a criticism.
In an Instagram video, theĀ NopeĀ star wanted an explanation, saying: āNow, this is no shade, no tea, but I have a question. I really am curious of whatās so bad about being a 69 God?
āI guess what Iām saying is, far as I knew, yāknow, 69 was something that just made you a reciprocal, right? So if youāre a 69 God, yāknow, whatās so bad about that? I must be missing something. Weāll see, boo.ā
In the caption of her post, she wrote: āIt seems that the ā69 godā person would be in the business of pleasing, what am I missing here? lol inquiring minds must know!ā
The bee fbetween the Hip Hop titans was also recently criticized by Camila CabelloĀ who worked with Drake on her new albumĀ C,XOXO.
āHe is such a delight,ā Cabello said of Drizzy in an interview withĀ The Times. āItās so frustrating to see people talk about someone you know in a way that is negative. Youāre like, āDang, if only you guys could just have dinner or something.āā
The pop star also explained how the two ended up working together: āHeās the fucking GOAT, so it felt like shooting for the stars,āĀ before recalling an Instagram exchange with the 6 God.
āI showed him the album when I felt comfortable enough and he really liked it. [The feature] came out of a nontransactional place. He had this idea of a song called āHot Uptown,ā and it just felt like I was in the city. I was in Miami.ā
