Angel Reese opens up about her marriage goals: “I want to have kids, but I still want to keep playing.”

The future is bright for Angel Reese on and off the basketball court. Reese is already a franchise cornerstone for the Chicago Sky in just her rookie year. If she stays healthy, the “Chi Barbie” is expected to have a long career in the WNBA.

Off the court, Reese has become a budding businesswoman. She has deals with different brands and recently started her own podcast. The “Unapologetically Angel” show dropped its inaugural episode on Thursday, during which the WNBA star revealed a handful of plans for her future.

When asked by co-host Maya Reese (no relation) about her marriage plans, the All-Star forward said she wanted to tie the knot before 30.

“It’s gonna take some time for me before I actually find the right man that really check all the boxes,” Angel Reese said. “I wanna get married by 27? I wanna have kids, but I still wanna be playing. I don’t know how this gonna work out, but the math is gonna happen at the right time.”

Cam’Ron Fletcher, who played for Florida State in the ACC last season, was the previous person Angel Reese dated. They broke up just as the 2024 March Madness started. The former LSU star went on Instagram to confirm they separated when she declared, “I’m single.”

Since then, Reese has been linked to a few NBA players, including former MVP Kevin Durant and Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren. She already debunked rumors of the former but hasn’t confirmed or denied anything about the latter.

Angel Reese wants to “establish” herself as a businesswoman before marriage

Angel Reese has envisioned what she would be before getting hitched. She is only a 22-year-old rookie but has already mapped out a plan for her future.

Here’s what she had to say about getting married:

“I wanna establish myself as a businesswoman enough where my man know, that’s one of my biggest flexes going into a relationship, I’m not coming in for no money. I’m not coming at you because you got this, this, this. I’m coming at you because I really like you, I really wanna be with you and I love you.”

Love or hate her style of basketball, fans have to applaud how Angel Reese wants to establish herself before getting hitched. Fans will be very interested to see who she ends up with after all the non-negotiables she mentioned in her podcast.
