Angel Reese Appears To Respond To Being Fined In Cringe Fashion
Angel Reese had an interesting reaction to news breaking that sheād been fined by the WNBA.
ReeseĀ wasĀ finedĀ $1,000 for not making herself available to the media after theĀ Chicago SkyĀ lost to theĀ Indiana FeverĀ over the weekend.
Why did she not make herself available? Thatās a great question that nobody has a concrete answer to. She probably didnāt want to answer questions about why she appeared to celebrate a cheap shot onĀ Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese drops what looks like a sponsored post after being fined.
Shortly after her fine was announced Sunday, Reese took to Instagram to share what looked like a sponsored post with Revolve and Sami Miro Vintage.
Was it her way of letting people know she has plenty of money and doesnāt care about being fined? We report, you decide.
The post canāt be embedded,Ā but you can see it here. Hit me with your thoughts atĀ [email protected].

Dropping what certainly looks like a sponsored post of yourself showcasing an outfit after being fined by the WNBA is a bold move. Youād think Reese might want to chill out for a bit after what went down Saturday.
It definitely looked like she celebrated Chennedy Carterās gross cheap shot on Clark. Iām not sure how anyone could see it any other way, and her conduct was nothing short of childish.
Instead, she seems interested in leaning into the attention and is now trying to pump up her Instagram numbers.
Dropping this post is the definition of cringe. Itās cringe from top to bottom. Take the fine like an adult, hop off social media after being justifiably crushed and move on. Donāt try to pivot with what looks like a sponsored post for an outfit. Nobody is interested in that after the insanity that went down Saturday against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. Let me know atĀ [email protected]Ā if you agree.

“‘Letās be very clear, we love Caitlin Clarkā¦I think this narrative of everybody hating on her, and even the black and white thing, knock it off, itās not there.’ Good stuff here by Las Vegas Aces Head Coach Becky Hammon and A’Ja Wilson on the national conversation surrounding the WNBA star rookie.”

āItās construed as some of our minority black & brown women are hating on [Caitlin Clark] because sheās white & that is not the caseā¦ But it has highlighted how black & brown greatness has not been celebrated,” Hammon said.

WNBA Legend Sue Bird Makes a Clear Demand of Caitlin Clark
IfĀ Caitlin ClarkĀ is to take any advice from any current or former WNBA player, she might as well do so from Sue Bird.
BirdĀ was drafted by the Seattle Storm first overall in the 2002 WNBA Draft, and is considered of the greatest players in WNBA history.
Across her Hall of Fame career, Bird won four WNBA championshipsĀ (2004, 2010, 2018, 2020),Ā five Olympic gold medalsĀ (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020), and two NCAA Championships as a UConn Husky.
So when she makes a suggestion about Caitlin Clark’s start with the Indiana Fever, fans would be wise to listen.

Bird was recently interviewed by AP Sports. In the interview, she suggested that fans needed to “be patient” with Clark during her rookie season in the WNBA.
The reason being that basketball is a team game, and Clark can’t solve the Fever’s losing by herself.
And because Clark isn’t surrounded by superstars, it’s easier for teams to focus their defense on her, which makes it tougher for Clark to score like she did at Iowa.
But Bird believes it’s only a matter of time before Clark breaks through.
