Shocking Twist: Miley Cyrus Spotted on Date Night as She Battles Lawsuit Over 2023 Hit ‘Flowers’!

The singer attended a Future Islands performance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on a rare date night with her boyfriend Maxx Morando. Cyrus wore a black turtleneck and matching black accessories to the event, and her hair was styled in a carefree half-up, half-down look.

Morando, however, let his messy hair flow as he sported a navy blue Polo Bear Cotton-Linen Sweater from Ralph Lauren, which currently retails for nearly $400.

Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Maxx Morando, pictured above on Wednesday, were spotted out on a rare date night.

The couple went to a Future Islands concert at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

According to reports, Cyrus and the Lily drummer first met on a blind date and have been dating since 2021.

A close friend of the pair disclosed in February that they had moved in together and were “very happy” in their partnership.

“Maxx is loved by all.” At the time, the insider told People, “He’s a great guy.” She is overjoyed to have him. He is reticent and dislikes being in the spotlight. She has benefited from it.

The outing comes shortly after the singer was sued by Tempo Music Investments — an investment platform which claims to own a share of the copyright for Bruno Mars’ 2012 single “When I Was Your Man” — for copyright infringement over her 2023 Grammy-winning single, “Flowers.”

The platform claimed in legal docs that the chorus, harmony, melody, chord progressions and lyrics of “Flowers” were “intentionally” taken from the “24K Magic” hitmaker’s song.

Notably, Mars is not named as a plaintiff alongside Tempo Music Investments in the filing.

The outing comes after the “Party in the U.S.A.” singer was sued for copyright infringement over her hit song, “Flowers” this week.

At the 2024 Grammy Awards, the song assisted Cyrus in winning her first Grammy for record of the year and best pop solo performance.

With the song, the “Used to be Young” hitmaker won her first Grammy awards in 2024, defeating Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish to win gold trophies for record of the year and best pop solo performance.

During her record of the year acceptance speech, Cyrus said, “This award is amazing, but I really hope that it doesn’t change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday.”

“Please don’t think that this is important. Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular.”
